Tunis

Our first visit was to Tunis, the capital of Tunisie. It's about 70km from our hotel and very different from Hammamet. It's very contemporary with large buildings, except in the Medina (medina means old city).
We woke up very early and the weather was colder and windy.

The Medina
We began our trip by tasting the typical mint tea, from a very traditional place inside the Medina. They start the day hearing the Koran because it is said that it gives good luck. Then we explored the different stores all with handmade products but we didn't buy anything because our guide told us that he would bring us into another place that was better for shopping with the best prices and good quality.
A Medina

These following ones are from the place were we shopped. They have so many beautiful stuff! It was so hard to chose what I was bringing home with me ahah :)
